How much will my Lodgesons keypad hand control cost?
The price of your Lodgesons can vary depending on whether you purchase your control privately or via the Motability Managed Adaptations Programme. The fitting cost can also vary slightly between adaption fitters and depending on whether your car is CANbus (Mulitplex) or Non CANbus (non Multiplex).
Contact your local fitter who will be able to fully advise and provide you with the exact cost for your car.

Do I need an assessment before I buy my R100 hand control?
It is always advisable to talk to a professional who can advise on the most suitable control for you, especially if it's the first time you have used this type of steering aid.
There are Assessment Centres around the UK & Ireland, who can provide you with a personal assessment, advice and driving lessons. Your local specialist driving instructor and Specialist Adaption fitter can also give advice and recommend products. Click on your prefered link which will take you to our locator map.

Will the R100 control fit any type of car?
We have not found a car that we cannot fit a Lodgesons to yet! Some of the more unusual cars can be complex to fit and therefore cost more, so please check first with your local fitter who will be happy to advise you.(Click the link which will help you find your local adaptions company).

What functions can my Lodgesons control provide?
Your Lodgesons R100 system will control the various secondry functions of your car. Go to the Products page for a list of functions that each model (e.g. the 5, 9, 12 & 18 function keypads) provides. If there is a function that is not included in the list contact us to see if we can include it as an extra.

How long is the warranty on my Lodgesons control?
A fully comprehensive 12 month warranty that comes with all Lodgesons Controls. In the unlikely event you experience any problems at all, please contact the adaptions fitter that you originally purchased your system from. If they cannot help you they will contact us on your behalf.

How do I find a Driving Instructor with a Lodgesons control fitted?
There are specialist driving instructors around the UK and Ireland (including BSM) equipped with Lodgesons R100 systems. Click here to find your local instructor.

Lollipop or Steering Ball? & Can I swap from one to the other?
It really is down to personal choice and what feels best for you. Both grips are developed with a soft touch plastic and are very comfortable. Some people do find the Lollipop easier for steering around roundabouts. Most of our fitters have demonstration units for you to try, click here to find your local adaptation specialist.

Can someone else drive my car using the standard controls?
Absolutely! Just remove your keypad control via its quick release mechanism, allowing normal function of your car for another driver if required.
